WTF is this ?

I haven't had any pest problems that I was aware of... but in reviewing some pics of my flowers.. what the hell is this > Kind of looks like a worm ? Anybody know what this is ? It might be part of the plant but I have not seen this elsewhere.

Let me know your thoughts. Two spots .. same flower.

yep, sorry to say u got a hermie there bud. that could produce pollen and pollenate some buds unfortunately
 
big buddha blue cheese - have about a week left - see this on only a couple of buds on the same plant. Im 7 and 1/2 weeks into flower - what should I do you think its gonna matter at this point. I just flushed yesterday.
 
Yea, if you got more plants and this is the only one that hermied pull it now. Could even be too late... The worst thing that's gonna happen is you'll end up with some seeds though
 
Here is the bud in question.. the other plants look fine.. unless I got seeds.. but it does not appear to be the case.

I only have 1 week left and the flowers are seriously just finishing.. you think that can still do some damage in one week ?
 
Close call bro, I honestly couldn't tell you... On that note, play it safe and chop, or go for it man!
 
Very carefully pull the plant out of the room and pull the bananas off. See if they are dumping any pollen. If not your probably good. Gauging from the pics, it looks like those won't do anything, but you can never tell. Check it to see.

See how the bud is stretching like that? That's usually a sign of heat stress, which can cause bananas to pop out. How close are your lights to the tops? Are your lights air cooled?
 
HGKDEHS may be on to something. I have had my 600 HPS within 8-12 of the tops - with SUPER LUMENS turned on. Note a pair of air cooled 600WHPS hoods in a 4x4 - understood - I am not nearly as efficient if I had a larger space. I needed canopy penetration - hence the use of so much light. Note that this is the only plant out of 6 that is showing these signs. I will remove the plant. I will pull the banana and let you know what I find today. Turned SUPER LUMENS off and have the lights about 12-15 inches away now for the finish.
