I found these Lil bastereds between my pot and my saucer that the pot sits in to prevent water from spilling on to the floor!

The pot is over watered bc my girl is sick and not drinking I almost positive this is the source but is it a bad thing? Should I just clone the plant and toss everything into the trash?CM180605-225502001.jpg

Fungus gnat larvae
Unfortunately I can't agree with you I just looked up fungus gnat larva and they look nothing like what I have! I do apologize I can't get a better picture I just bought a bad ass microscope camera thing that should take amazing 100x pics! But I won't have it for another 3-4 days!

I wouldnt toss it, do you have worm castings in your soil? I know these little guys are found in worm castings. they look like pot worms to me "Enchytraeidae"

hmm they have always been in my worm bin. they are not harmful as far as I know. I bet you have the teeny eggs of them in your worm bin and they are maturing in your pots. If you are worried that they are harmful larvae that will hatch into bugs to eat the plants I would top dress with DE and then when they emerge from larvae state they are immediately coated in the DE and die. problem solved! But I really don't think that they are bugs. just my $0.02!

yeah probably pot worms then.. much less worse, and actually not bad at all.. except for the fact that ph might be a bit low, or conditions a bit "wet".. as those conditions subside, so will their ability to flourish.. they make such a fine casting that they can actually cause the very bottom corners to be finer, tad muckier, so if bottom feeding, maybe give the saucers a bit of time in between splashes.. even a few hours can go a long way !

I agree ^^ pot worms. A dusting of lime or OSF for the low pH and pot worms usually result from overfeeding with a 'wet' food source like too much veggie scraps, various melons and similar.

Not harmful themselves, but they are indicators that bin conditions are headed in a bad direction.
