I wouldn't shoot anyone except in war or if I was threatened with bodily harm.

If I could foresee the future, I'd give his momma a choice of morning after pill, or abortion. Once born, I'd rather see him live out his life in prison. I could not murder, but I could kill, if needed.

Under chivalry, I could challenge him to single combat, then kill him straightaway with my sword and take everything he owns, including his wife who I would then sell to the vikings

After his conviction of treason and a death sentence, I'd send him to one of the very chambers he's sent so many to die recently.
