Hey everyone! Just wondering if you think this is ready for choppin? Pictures were taken just a couple hours ago. I was thinking of doing the deed tomorrow, but thought I'd ask here first. Thanks in advance for your opinions, and feel free to post your own pics. Whaddya think?

Hey Smidge, thanks! I used a NIkon CoolPix S8200. Set on the flower (macro) setting. Auto focus, and I don't use the zoom when I take the pic. I blow it up by cropping it.

I know, everyone so far says chop....
I have a couple of questions...
Are the amber trics are they on the burnt tips of your plant? Those trics just look damaged to me, I see a loot of clear ones in first couple of pix...
The Trics not on the tips of buds... in the middle, cut open any bud anywhere... are the trics clear or amber inside your bud?
If they are clear, wait... I want to see a milky highway throughout the bud...squeeze the bud, is it solid, or fluffy ?If you feel fluffy, wait...

She came down this am. It was about 8:00 am and a light frost on the grass, as there has been the past 3-4 days. I figured it's time!
I only have the one plant unfortunately. Next year I hope to end up with 4 or 5 plants. So much fun!!!
Here's a top and side view before she got chopped.

A little closer on a bud. Seems pretty dense. The popcorn nuggs made a thud when I dropped them from about a foot above the counter.



Had enough for about 5 good hits of scissor hash!

I think the tips got burnt from the frost the last few nights. The trics on the inside of the buds are cloudy/clear mix. Mostly cloudy on the outside of the buds.
I decided to yank because of the overnight cold temps. And, the fact that I've dodged the bug and mold bullets so far. I think it could've gone another week or so, but the buds are compact and dense. They feel heavy in your hand. I think after drying and curing they will be very compact. We'll see. I'll post an updated report.

Make sure you have a fan blowing around air in that building, or else you could end up with some really nice looking, moldy buds.

I had her hanging out in my shed, which is large and dry, but it has been raining and really humid out the last few days. It didn't seem like she was drying quite fast enough. After a week of hanging in the shed, she still almost felt fresh picked. Being very skeerd of mold, I moved her indoor today to finish drying before going into jars. This was grown from some Aurora Project seed (Northen Lights cross) from 303 seeds. I started 8 plants, and fuck me, 7 turned out male. Next year I'll start with 12 goddammit!!!
I'm super happy with the results, just wish I had at least 2 more of her! Then I could easily have me enough smoke till next harvest! Hope you all did good this year. From looking around this board, there are some people who really know thier shit here. -Peace all
