Alright ive been struggling to find the right combination of lights for my 2x6 room but i think ive might of found the right combo. --- From seed i plan on growing 8 plants with three t5's. ( the exact t5's i found online were - Pioneer IV T5 High Output 2' x 4 Fluorescent Fixture Grow) SO i plan on growing with those lights through vegation. Ive researched about how long you can use these t5's for through vegation before its not enough energy/lumens for the plant to steadily carry on without the plant starting to stretch and become more flimsy and the answer was a foot and a half. Is that right? Now this is the important part ive got to ask, --when the plants reach a foot and a half from using the t-5s can i add in a 600hps light using the same schedule 18/6? I understand that the plant will begin to stretch and the nodes between branches wont be as close but if im still running the t5's and the 600 HPS, i think it would even it self out. Then when it reaches about 3 feet change the lighting shechdule to 12/12 while using all the lights from vegging. Will this screw the plant up if i initially throw that 600 HPS on the plants half way through veggin (foot and a half) all the way to harvest? Please give me some feedback, thanks a lot.:weed:
