ok i can't get spray heads for my hydro cloner locally and i don't want to order over the internet.. is there any way that i could make a spray head.. or just put a needle hole in a peice of hose and put a higher pressure pump on it in order to get it to mist the stems of the clones??

Sounds like it would work. They're might be some logistical problems like getting it to hit the roots or possibly mold buildup in it. I'm just throwing ideas out there, so I'm not exactly sure if those would be problems. But, yeah, I would try it. This sounds like it could be the start of a new craze: Super Cheap DIY Aero Machine.

i was in lowes and saw something that i thought may be useful with aeroponics (and easy to get ahold of).

this one is a "drip to small spray" system -- comes with eight heads, tubing, and the hose connector for around 20 bucks. put that inside a tuperware container, you're off to a good start! LINK TO LOWES.COM

they also had several different types of mini water spickety spray spinner things -- from quarter/half-circle sprayers to circle/spinning-misters all for around 5 bucks for a pack of 10. all you need for these is a low-level pump (i think as little as 10gph pump) and the flexible pvc. you punch a hole in the tube and twist the piece in...thats it -- LINK TO LOWES.COM

i ended up going in this direction -- Rain Bird Shrubbery Spray Head - Full Circle Pattern -- i got a few of the threaded pvc attachments and 5 foot of tube and some elbows, "t's," etc and constructed an angled system of 4 with a 325 gph pump and am very impressed with it.... LINK TO LOWES.COM

hope this helps..

I might be really interested in trying that first system you listed with Lowes for $20. That looks like a really cool system, and you wouldn't have the hassle of putting together all those heads. That is what has kept me from builiding one already. Maybe now's the time.
