Would this be a good grow box? (needs to be a bit stealthy too)

The box (well little cabinet)

Dimensions
2ftx2ft witdth/depth and 3ft high.

Lighting
four 42watt CFL's in each square foot of the roof of the box.

Ventilation air circulation
two 12V little computer fans on each side of the box resepctively.

will be putting them in four separate 1 gallon containers.

Any idea for the soil medium, fertilizers preferably organic and any general advice would be good.

The idea will be to a small scale sea of green, so it wont be a sea as much more a small pond, i hope to fit for plants in here that are afghani no.1 getting them this weekend and need some help with box, also cant be too generous with money.

My setup is gonna be similar... 2x2x4, plywood construction.. why not build higher? 4 feet is an easily divisible number (sheets of plywood/chipboard are 4x. Why not have that extra foot? Don't forget that your lights gotta hang down a bit too.

Also remember, it's easier to bring the plant UP to the light, than bring the light DOWN to the plant.

4 ft seems like a good idea,
