would like some good experienced feedback

Ok so i have a couple of questions. I have a low ryder #2 cross in ffof soil and up till now (day 14) every thing has been fine. Yesterday i watered with distilled water mixed with 1 tbls of unsulfured molasses and then ph balanced it at 6.9-7.0. woke up today and seen some nute burn going on (not much just a little on a couple leaves) which is weird since all i did was watered with molasses and used ph up to balance out the distilled water to 6.9-7.0. Now my soil ph range is around 6.3 to 6.8 which is great but my soil run off is low and around 5.0 to 5.5. so question #1 is why am i getting nute burn on just molasses or could it be just from ffof being to hot. But then again if the soil was to hot why would i just now start seeing burn. my 2nd question is the mother of them all-should i go by soil ph or run off.

i hate hot soil.........like playing with a wild card in the deck

I almost never have problems with ffof so that why I am curious.

Either way I figured it was nute burn, but from where or how I don't know. So I flushed with just distilled water with a neutral ph and it seemed to correct it's self. Both run off and soil ph are corrected and balanced as well.
