Would i benefit from a late outdoor topping?

I have a couple untopped plants, theyre roughly 3foot and still have 3 weeks at a guess until they will start to flower. just wondering if anyone ever tops this late? will it incress my yeild at all? ones a bubblelicous and ones a blackjack

yup you can top all the way right till flower starts. the sooner the better but wouldnt hurt to do it late.
