hello first of all i do live in Washington state. so ive been to the doctor many times in the past few years for stomach problems. i was having problems digesting food correctly and never had much off a appetite. well they gave me some paper work to fill out so i can go see a specialist and it asked tons of questions. One of them was do you smoke marijuana if so how much wrote that i smoked daily. When doctors seen me next they asked about the weed and i explained how it helps me get a appetite. He understood and just called it the munchies.

so i go to specialist and got a endoscopy. I am sitting there in the hospital bed as the nurses hook up the great drugs to me and they also bring up the marijuana. i explain my self again, they just chuckled. so they find that i have a hiatus hernia and some other damage caused by acid.

what im wondering is since i have already mentioned it to my doctors and a specialist would it help me get this legal MMJ license.
my reasoning would be it helps me get a good appetite, but i am not sure if this is a serious enough condition to get a MMJ card.

i just recently started growin very small amount and would just like to be legal so i dont have to worry. and also would enjoy going down to the dispensary and getting some medicine that would increase appetite alot as ive read they have different strains for different conditions

sorry if this is all fucked up and wrong i just wanted to get some opinions

and would also like to know how i would get set up with this

sorry again if i did something incorrect here
:-?

Washington Medical marijuana: This state has medical marijuana laws enacted. Modern research suggests that cannabis is a valuable aid in the treatment of a wide range of clinical applications. These include pain relief, nausea, spasticity, glaucoma, and movement disorders. **Marijuana is also a powerful appetite stimulant and emerging research suggests that marijuana's medicinal properties may protect the body against some types of malignant tumors, and are neuroprotective.** For more information see NORML's Medical Marijuana section.

so my reason is legitimate ill have to do some more research still tho
thanks again

I think it really just depends on the doctor, in my experiences regular doctors are close minded and stereotypical, so needless to say they wouldn't write the recommendation. I had my records evaluated by CBR medical and THCF, both offered to write it almost immediately, so I would say ask your regular doc and if he says no go to one of these places and they will.

i dont know where you send them into but i do know that if you can get the past 2 or 3 chart notes from ur past doctor visit, you can send them in and get them evaluated to figure out if you qualify or not

I talked to one of the people running email for CBR Medical as I am trying to get mine but my medical records are all a mess so im trackin them down. Anyways, she said it is up to the doctor really but without your condition documented and having tried other medications they usually won't write your recommendation.
