Would giving an extra 12 hrs of both parts of tha light cycle do any harm or help?? Or even 12/24 cycle?? Same amount of hrs on but extra 12 hrs off. Any knowledge or ideas any1??
Would blooming on 24/24 cycle HELP or HARM?

Never tried it, but I remember an article in High Times many yrs ago, and the guy was doing 8 on 12 off, or 6 on 12 off? Can't remember
If I remember correctly though, it def sped up flowering, but wasn't worth it in the end.
24hrs darkness wouldn't be good at all though IMO.
24 on 12 off? Who knows.
And I would never try to do that either

most likely you will have hella stretch. Yes they do all their magic in the dark, but need the sun to store energy for this magical time in darkness

Ok well I just sayin 12 extra each day/nite but that was mostly ballpark numbers cuz I was thinkin bout havin to reprogram my timer lol im currently running tha bloom on a 11/13 cycle cuz theyre bout 5 wks into budding, I do 12/12 tha first month, 11/13 for week 5 & 6, n finish em off at 10/14 tha last 2 or 3 weeks(croppin in descending order in 3rds wit a few days gaps) but I lve been wonderin were tha line in tha sand is drawn between veg n bloom. Where in tha most common 6 hr of mmj leeway split?? between 18/6 to 12/12? Could u still veg on 13/11, 14/10 etc?? Same wit blooming but 11/13, 10, 14 etc..

It's all hormones my friend. Our sacred plants need 12 hours dark to produce flowering hormones. If I remember correctly they produce said hormones for about 10 hours starting at about 2 hrs after lights out and continue till lights on.

Yea im not guna go crazy n start double light cycles or anything lol I think itd stress her out into a hermaphrodite probably. But actually more interested if any1 knows anything further on tha boundaries of veg/bloom. U know? Like a scale kinda sayin for veg 18/6 is good, 20/4 is better etc & bloom is good at 12/12, better at 10/14 etc. I dont plan on creating my own super light cycle or anything lol just curious really......thanx for comments by tha way

I've heard of people using digital cycle timers to run plants through an extra dark cycle every seven days, by shortening each day by three hours.
I myself am currently running a veg cycle of six on, six off- or 'navy watch' schedule. They take to it fine. I do it so I can run two rooms on a flip schedule and keep them both in veg. They don't seem to suffer a lack of growth rate relative to the normally scheduled grows.
