Worth keeping?

So this is what my clones look like after a little bit of TLC! They looked like they were dying when i got them, brown thin roots etc. I thought id give them a go anyway...i was going to get rid of them today but when i went in to look this is what they looked like! I think there ready for a transplant aswell. I can see fat white roots coming out the bottom now. They have come back to life as soon as i upped the humidity with my new humidifier, it was below 20% in there and now it ranges from 50-60% and temps of 24 degrees C lights on and 19 off.

I was going to get rid because when i went to feed the other day i saw a few little flys in the coco. I got the ladies off a guy who grew them in soil so this is where they have come from...i only saw a few in the top layers but i was worried if i was gonna cause my self a huge headache by keeping them. I can get hold of a product called "gnat off" which kills all knats and larvae. Is it absolutely worth it to use it because i havnt seen any in the last few days? Better safe than sorry though huh? Anybody used gnat off on here? And can i mix it with my feed? And how many times should i use it to get rid! Thanks in advance!!

I've used gnat off before.

It contains BT Becilous therungiensis or some other scientific name.

It doesn't kill the fungus gnats, it kills the larvae stage.

Read the instructions, I'm sure it says 2-3 applications a few days apart.

Never mix anything like this with nutes IMO.

Thanks for the info brother!

You can mix many of the gnat larvae killer powder with nutes no problem I have been doing it for a couple cycles now. If I don't treat my coco they always lay eggs and start trouble. I almost lost one of my ladies to it so don't underestimate them like the majority of people I see on this site. When they get in there and start eating your roots you will wish that you would have just done a "just in case" treatment.

They look good, although I'd up the nitrogen a bit. what strain are they looks like sativa
Thanks man. Yes there blue cheese, so should be a hybrid? Is it a strong sativa in your opinion? Kinda looks like it to me. The guy said they where 8-9 week finishers... Your right they do look a bit hungry im gonna up the A&B from next feed

Thankyou my man! I dont think its a powder i think its in liquid form but still be the same im sure?? I am defo going to do a "just incase" treatment. They cant be that bad because there arnt any in the trap? So you think its ok with my A&B then? Thanks again!

Definitely do yeah.

I would agree about up'ing the feed now.

Are you testing EC at all?

If so what are you putting in vs what's coming out in runoff?

J

Yo J,

No i never test the EC, just go off how the plant looks really. Going to up the A&B from 1.2 per L to around 2.0 per litre. Do you think thats a too big of a jump? Cant remember what i did last time

I would up to 1.5ml per litre for now.

Are you using the canna feeding schedule from their website?

Or are you just using A and B?

Give me the low down on the different nutes you have?

J

This is the feeding amounts I use. BUT I use hydro nutes in coco with a little extra Ca and Mg if you measured your EC it would help you to understand the stuff below. I only use the aqua vega the whole way through.

Feeding schedule ml per litre
Rooting EC0.9
Rhizotonic 4ml
Vega AB 1.4ml

Veg 1 EC1.1
Vega AB 1.8ml
Rhizotonic 2ml
Zym 2.5ml

Veg 2 EC1.4
Vega AB 2.4ml
Rhizotonic 2ml
Zym 2.5ml

Flower EC1.6
Vega AB 2.9ml
Rhizotonic 0.5ml
Zym 2.5ml

Same as above but with PK1314. EC1.8. After PK week drop to EC1.2 for 2-3weeks. Then flush if desired.

The paste above is from the note pages on my iPhone. Lol.

Nice one bro! Currently on A&B & Rhizo. Got some calmax aswel but usualy only use a bit of that in flower.

Currently feeding...
1.2 A&B per L
2ml per L of rhizo

Going to up it to around 1.8 per L from tomorrow when i transplant and keep the rhizo the same and see how we go from there. They do look hungry though

The end all/be all to fungus gnats: Gnat Maxx! One dose and bye bye gnats for good!

Clones have made the turn to a better life and are doing well from the pictures you have provided!

Thanks for the feedback man, they will be getting looked after from now on!
Keep 'em man, nurse them back to health.
It won't be hard.:-P
Hope not! They have finally started to do something after around 9 days, they hadnt done anything until i got that humidifier...just goes to show humidity is vital for growth!!!

Sounds good d I don't know much about canna nutes I use flora nova I'd follow the schedule and use a hair less to be safe
