wondering if this would fit?

I have made 2 led panels on (20 inch long by 5 inch wide and 3.5 deep) heat sinks with 2 cxb 3590 on each, both running on a single 200w 1400mah driver . Active cooled by a arctic alpine 11 on the back of each heat sink. Seems to work okay, while keeping the back of the heat sink at around 25-28c. Anyway I'm wondering if I could hang this light in a micro tent of 60cm wide 45 cm deep and 60 cm high. I plan to hang these as high as I can and lst and scrog and fim to keep canopy as low as possible and as bushy as possible. And how much space from cob to canopy Is recommended? To prevent burning?

Thats too much. It would result in ~1900 PPFD.

You would be just fine using only one panel with 2 COBs or lower the amperage to 700mA if it is possible.

@VegasWinner
It's a waste of energy if he doesn't dim them down to at least 700mA.
That extremely high photon density would probably also result in a very long flowering time.

I have a 1-10v dimmer attached but if I dim right down it flickers alot lol if I dim it down to halfway it sorta gets less bright till it starts flickering,should I dim it down till right before it flickers? Wich Is at about 50% on the dim switch

what driver becaust at 1400 each led would be 50w?

so then its only 100w so for ur space possible not enough light

What kind of dimmer is it? Is it a potentiometer?
But yes, you should dim it down to 50% to get 700mA. 40-45% would also be enough for that space.

2x2x50W = 200W

4x CXB3590 @700mA = 19K lumens
19K lumens @60cm x 45cm = ~1000 PPFD

I would say, that is more than enough.

I dnt thnk it's a potentiometer. Not 100% sure. How much space should be between cobs and canopy?

He said he's using an 80x80x160 now.

I would say at least 20cm / 8", maybe even 15cm / 6". Depends on how far you dim them down.
Just put the back of your hand below the lights and you will get the feeling at which minimum distance you should keep them.

Yeah sorry I am using it inside a 80x80x160 tent and want to downgrade since I don't have much room and if I dim to 50% will the power draw be 50% less? Using a 200w driver. Will it be running 100w when dimmed to 50%?

if u tell us what driver it is we can answer this and also your dimming question

ok i see

i think those drivers had defective dimming, other wise search for the 3 in 1 dimming thread on here(there are 2)

check with the PLC thread regarding this, dont think cutter will help you out though they r a bit shit with customer service
Um... no they're not. @welight will make ANYTHING right for ANYONE. how the hell can you make such a claim Whacker?
