Woke up to drooping

Hello first time grower here. I am currently in early veg at day 31 and much to my chagrin I woke up to some drooping today when I opened my cab. so admittedly I'm freaking out a bit. I am using a Sterilite 2-Shelf Storage Cabinet measures approximately 25-3/4"L x 19"W x 35-3/4"H lined the walls with mylar. I've had some slow growth because i planted a germinated seed in 3 gallons smart pot using coco coir growstone gs3 medium by the way with cal mag, and the flora series every other watering. Not sure what strain but its a bag seed and my buddy said it was called santa clause og kush so take that fwiw.

Anyway, I misted twice for the first time yesterday around 6 and then again at midnight. She was beautiful up until now. I have her on a 18/6 lighting with one 6500k 250 watt cfl from the start. lights out from 3-9 at night into morning. I also have 2 aero cool pc fans one for an intake and one for exhaust with an oscilating fan that blows near the exhaust for circulation. I know theres no nute problems and my water and feeding are always ph'd around 5.8 with run off around 7.0. However changes have been made slightly to the environemnt the last few days.

First. 2 days ago I added a 2700k 250 watt CFL (I know its best for flowering but I figured she needed more light and the dual spectrum cant hurt right?). i forgot to turn my lights off the day before yesterday so they were on for about 25 hours straight then I gave her 3 hours dark from 10 in morning to 1 afternoon and flipped the lights back on to get her back on 18/6. Well the 2500k 250w cfl is a huge bulb and it brought the temp up to whopping 90 degrees in about the first 20 minutes so yesterday I just installed a window ac unit near the cab that is blowing the fan only on auto. but the ac unit had it down to 79 last night its hovering around 82 now with 16% low humidity. Anyways I have a few issues that I need addressed.

1. Could misting 3 hours before lights out last night cause drooping this morning, and if so do I need to just give her a good watering to drain through properly. she hasn't had a real watering in 3 days I believe and it was just plain water. If I do need to water do I give nutes since last time was plain ph'd water.
2. the temp I guess is ok at 80 ish right?
3. higherish temps but low humidity around 16%. how to bring humidity up and keep temps down if misting hurts her.

Heres some images from 2 days ago and today.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Just saw that ur using fabric pots give her a little water see if she perks up .

Hey thanks for fast reply mate. about how much half gallon or so? should I nute it first since last water was plain ph'd

I'm no expert, so please check what I'm sayig out further!

The reason your post has just jumped out at me from the forum is because I've been battling drooping leaves myself the last few days, so I immediately scanned your post to see if you had added new lights, because this is what has been my problem and I think I've only come across it mentioned twice in my days of trawling the in the internet, and I'm sorry I can't remember where it was to link it for you,:bigjoint: but it is there!

So my issue was when we transplanted the girls and added the 600w hps to the 2 lamp T5 that they were under up to then. They looked great right up until we went to bed. My partner checked them at 5am and thought they looked good. By the time I went in about 9am, they were heartbreakingly sad looking, just stood there all limp and droopy, I nearly cried!
Anyway, long story short, I raised the new light by about 2 inches and started moving the girls round every couple of hours to build up the tolerance. They straightened up by the end of the day but the leaves went really pale, I read that this is to absorb less light.

So many people have told me that I must have overwatered, underwatered, overfed, underfed, blah, cos they're the only things they know that'd make a plant do that. Overwatered was the prevailing theory, but it's also the thing I'm most careful with, so I know it wasn't that. I am convinced it was the change in lights. I don't understand all the measurements but I read that a 400w hps is 50000 lumens or something, whereas they were used to the 4000lumens fluorescent, so it stands to reason the 600w hps would be a shock to them!

Anyway my girls are definitely looking strong again now, I think we've lost a few days growth though. Good luck with yours :peace:

Heya space jam, people say you cant overwater in coco.Well technically thats bullshit imho. When plants are smaller in a big pot of coco, you can overwater.Once they are bigger with a full root system maybe that applies, but not when they are small.Confine your watering to the outside of the pot,to force root proliferation.Dont worry about alot of runoff for a couple weeks to get the roots established. It still astounds me how many new growers choose to start in coco, with all the headaches it brings them. But thats just my opinion.

A couple others are, cold temps and dark periods. A lot of plants droop while the lights are off. I could see if you aren't used to growing where someone could think it's a problem if they walk in the room just as the lights are coming on and find droopy plants.

When she gets bigger than u can do all that stuff..I do organics I only water no bottled nutes and stuff my plants are 3-4 feet and I only give them a half gallon of water and they like it
well I gave it only 3 cups like you said and she drank that up fast. immediate run off within seconds. does that mean she was thirsty?

Wow! great post man. yeah I looked all over trying to see if anyone had similar issues with new lights myself. the 2700k I just added is 11,000 lumens and its a pretty small grow space. should I just give my baby some time to adjust to its new environment? as I said though she did seem thirsty. drank water extremely fast. only 3 cups worth. gonna see how she's doing in a hour or so and will update.

hey yeah wasn't having any issues with until I put the new light in. coco seemed to be doing beautifully until then.

Why would plant be thirsty & have immediate run off? Stop over watering that poor thing! Jeeezz! Don't feel bad I think I did it to a seedling! I felt like such a dumby! Mine died though! Good luck. Where's diabolical dude he knows a lot!

ah shit so immediate run off means its overwatered? lol I think I'm in over my head. idk how it could be overwatered. plus my humidity level 16% so its pretty low. I havent watered in 3 or 4 days. I just misted yesterday.
