with two plants is anything over 1000w overkill?

2 girls vegged 3 months from seed, 7g containers FFOF. Bushes, topped couple times going up.

They're about 2ft x 2ft canopy each, a little over 2ft tall.

They're under a 1000w hortilux radiant 6 (by themselves).

I have a 600w I could throw on them too, would it be worth it?

My lower growth always looks fine without the 600w, what would it do? make the flowers overall larger?

For that matter I have a 400watter too, but is there a point of diminishing returns?

Sorry for the noob Qs, just wanted to see if anyone more experienced would offer a suggestion...

Using your 1000 watter over 2 plants I wouldn't call over kill. You might yield just the same off those two that you would if you had 4. I would say that giving them 1000w each is overkill. You'll most likely get really good results without adding the other two lights imo.
