Wiring question

I got 2 3 light vanity bars im using for the sides of my plants and i was wondering. Do you need to hook the naked copper wire to anything? or can I just hook up the white and black to a plug and be good to go?

Also when the true leaves are out does the sprout leaves start to turn yellow on you guys?

The bare copper wire is your ground and it is highly advised that you use it (get a three wire plug cable).

yes, eventually, and then they fall off.

Get some electric tape and tape em up good.

Correct, correct. Hook up the ground and Yes they yellow and fall off or at my house I cut them off. Someone chime in and say no don't do that to many sugars in there, your stressing the plant.

how could i ground safely when im hooking it up to a two prong cord? LIke could i just use some random wire to extend it into the third outlet hole thing?
