WIRING HELP.. CFLs

i have three 26 watt cfls. i want them all hooked up. how would i go about doing this? buy light fixtures, wire them all together and then into one plug? PLEASE HELP... would like to set up soon as possible. a little drawn diagram would be perfect.

I started with a clamp light like this

And I remove the reflector hood and replaced the clamp with some pieces from my old steel tec and hung it from a hook by a string

Then I used 3 twin socket adapters

to get

just buy another light to fill that 4th slot

if u conect several cords together make shure u paralel conect them

alright. thanks for all the help much appreciated and i love that setup moonbeam. i started somethin before i read these posts. its somethin like 23" deep X 50" wide X 25" tall. right now the temp is about 80 F wich seems high no? i have a fan too, to help a little.
+ im kindof fearfull for it but the lights arent even that hot. just wondering if my setup is okay. constructive criticism??? pictures to show... they are just dark because of the camera setting and i usually have cardboard blocking that huge gap you can see in. so it closes it right in. by no means do i believe this is a decent setup. very ghetto. i just want to know if itll work.??

that 3rd lamp is a CFL too. they are all 23 watt 1600 lumen bulbs.

Re:Heat . . . the heat from the bulbs is going up ^^ ward, so any residual heat would be in the ceiling. Move/cool THAT air and your temps might settle.

sunds good. ive ran into a new problem and im scared for her life. the leaves are starting to burn i think, but its not even hot. i had the three lights on it but i noticed today that they are 2700K each so thats 8100K really close to my plant. i need help soon as possible. for now i took two lights off of it. the pictures dont do the justice of the problem.

Bottom side of leafs. Spider mites? You can hold a piece of paper under the leaf and flick it (leave) to see if any fall off?
I ain't sayin' you've got them . . . I'm just sayin' you might wanna look for them 'cuz you pics suggest they could be infesting.

you should read about color temperature, you said earlier something like "2700k, so that's 8100K"... color temperature is a numerical reference for how far from "true" white the bulb deviates. anything below 5500K is appears redder, anything above appears bluer.

So three times a color temperature results in three times the intensity of 2700K, not 8100K.

Oh yeah, intensity is measured in lumens, you should google that too. (or check the growFAQ here)

yeh.... if you triple the lumens ( 3 lights ) is 4800. yeh its bright.. but theres still no heat. i should be fine. ive read alot n talked to some ppl n took some tests. lots of signs show that my prob is the wrong pH level n i have a level of 8 - 8.2 i need to find some water that decent, 5.5 - 6.5 n flush that shit
