Figured I should be taking more notes and tracking my progress more. I'll just be throwing up updates and notes here but feel free to chime in and offer advice or discussion or whatever!

This was my first journal and auto grow.

And to where we are now.


I'll update with my progress up to this point...

These pictures are more recent so I'll just run through my current setup and grow. Been growing in coco and perlite the last few runs and having good success with it. Had been drain to waste, but recently I've started using a Blumat Tropf watering system to cut down on the work. Working well so far.

As far as watering goes I've been using a modified nutrient mix loosely based on the coco for cannabis guidelines. Using the GH trio line with CalMag, rapidstart, florablend, floralicious plus, diamond nectar. Max EC of 1.2, pH'd to 6-6.5.
These plants were established drain to waste well into veg. Then just recently I've switched to using Blumat system with a 5gal reservoir. The two 5gal pots each have two 'carrots' feeding them and the 2 gal pots have one each.


Here's my cat for no reason. His name is Rock, he is hungry and disappointed.

The current star of the show is the Canuk Cookie. OG Kush x Durban Poison by Canuk Seeds. I really messed with this girl, from the start and she took to heavy training very well. My first attempt at main lining so it's a bit of mess and not very pretty.

This is the Obi-Wan Kush. Skywalker x OG Kush. This one just hasn't grown as large as the Cookie and has resisted my main lining attempts, the secondary nodes just didn't really grow in well and she kept putting all her focus into the two main branches until i finally topped and super cropped without mercy. Next time I'll just top a few times i think. Otherwise nice and healthy and looking good.

And these are a couple of clones a friend gave me to try out. zkittlez Glue and Cotton Candy Cane. In the same coco and perlite mix as the big girls and using the same nute mix.

I forgot to mention lights! That's important right? Well nothing too special here either, using a pair of Amazon specials i got cheap, 200w LED 3500k. And then for flower I throw in a 200w sunblaster cfl for good measure. So 600w total in a 4x4 area during flower. The LEDs work well enough, I burnt my autos a couple of times my first run with them, so they are bright enough I guess.

Update time.

The Canuk Cookie and Obi-Wan are coming along slowly but looking and smelling wonderful. We're about 5 weeks into flower now.

And the clones looking nice as well. Also about 5 weeks. We'll get a few grams from them after all.

And cause I'm impatient and hate wasting any space I've popped a few autoflowers to fill out the basement.
So we popped a couple of Mephisto freebies a few days ago.
We have a Deep Blue C x Sour Bubbly and a Sour Stomper x Creme de la Chem two days old.


And we just started to germinate a Toofless Alien and a (Double Grape x 3 Bear OG) x Sour Bubbly. The DGx3BOGxSB is going to be a micro grow for shits and giggles.

A note regarding the reservoir/feeding system. I am topping off the reservoir up to about 4-4.5 gals about every 5-6 days once is gets down to about 1 gal or less. Noticable drop in system pressure below a gallon. Fertilizer mix is around 1.2 EC, 6.4 pH. Moved to a mid-bloom schedule last week and slowly upping the amount of KoolBloom. I add a few mL of H202 to keep any bacteria growth down. The coco medium is testing a little low between 4.9-5.5pH, so I'm watching that, but watering at a slightly high pH seems to be striking a good balance. Gave everything a flush a week ago just to make sure there's no salt build ups. All the plants appear perfectly happy, no signs of stress or deficiency.

Update. We're just plugging away here. The flowering girls are coming along, i dunno, seems like slow progress however and not much development in the past week or so. I've lowered the lights a little bit to see if the plants respond. No other signs of stress or deficiencies that might be causing issues. About 6.5 weeks into flower.

And my Meph autoflowers are all sprouted now and getting established. Starting out a bit stretchy though. They're only getting 12hrs of light so might be why.

Here's some Pineapple Express that's been curing for over 3 months now. Wish i saved some of the nicer bigger buds...but I smoked them...
Nice smooth smoke, strong and trippy high. The terps have gone from very fruity pineapple and sharp citrus to more of a earthy, sort of old orange, or grapefruit smell. Its delicious.

Finally got a proper tent so my Meph babies get a new home and a proper lighting schedule.


I'll run the tent on a 20/4 or 24 schedule and fill it out with some photos being germinated now.

Finished adjusting the new setup today. Moved the photos around and tightened up the lighting a bit. We're around week 6 of flower now, at least 3+ to go I figure. Buds are starting to frost up nicely.

And my Mephisto's are doing ok and enjoying 24hrs of light. They haven't stretched much more thankfully and are starting to leaf out nicely. RH was low so I threw a humidifier in later. Hopefully they'll take off now that I've dialed in conditions. The two on the right are 15 days and two on the left 10. Double grape x 3 bear OG x Sour Bubbly, Toofless Alien, Deep Blue C x Sour Bubbly, Sour Stomper x Chem de la Creme

Next round of photos starting to sprout! A few regs from JOTI poking up. I'll have to weed through them but just trying my luck with a small batch. Might save some pollen if i get males to play with. couple Blue Hawaiian Sativa, couple Blue God and a Black Funk Dog and Gods Strawberry Kush. Then I also started an Acapulco Gold and Blue Dream CDB (fems) just to make sure I'll have a couple females this round worse case scenario. I'm really excited for this round.

Been a couple weeks since last update.
Canuck Cookie and Obi-Wan Kush are a little over 8 weeks. Looking nice and frosty. Will let them ride for another couple weeks I think and then it's harvest time.

Started a couple more Mephisto autoflowers. Toof Decay and ManBearAlienPig.


These went right into coco and perlite 3 Gal fabric pots after germination.
