Carbon filter?
If you use the same size fan for intake and exhaust, but have the exhaust on a carbon filter you will create a positive pressure due to the intake fan flowing more than the exhaust. This positive pressure will cause smell to escape the tent.

Ok so the exhaust needs to be bigger than the intake fan.

Yes or just do a passive intake (no fan), if you go this way the intake needs to be about 2x the size of the exhaust.
