What's up everybody?
So I have access to cheap clones and I'd like to make use of them before Fall of 2010.
I'm trying to brain storm on ideas of how I could make this work through the winter.
My first thought was to grow indoors using a grow light in a closet or my basement, but that really isn't feasible considering that I'll be living with my parents until I go to college next fall. I could make it work using a speaker cabinet. At the same time I could get caught, kicked out, and lose all of my parents support. Conclusively, I cannot do it -inconspicuously- in my house.
On the other hand, I have access to about a 4 acre wooded area that I could section off for outdoor cultivation. The only downside is that it will soon be winter..but I could use the land-space to construct some sort of green house. This land will be wilderness with no electrical availability.
I'm a first-time grower, so I came to this website for some outside opinions, suggestions, and experiences. You guys are the knowledgeable ones about this (although it is my brother that I'm buying the clones from and he is quite experienced at indoor cultivation), so I am asking for any help that you are willing to provide.
Just some background information about myself and my location:
-I'm an experienced smoker
-I live in northern Kentucky, so winters are unpredictable; sometimes harsh, but have been getting milder and milder as we, humans, raise the temperature of our world's climate. Winters can range from -5 F to 40 F, with light precipitation.
-I am willing to invest up to 150 dollars on this project, although the less I spend, the better.
I appreciate any suggestions or ideas!
