Window AC Help?

Yo,

I am hoping somone out there can help me with my AC issue. I have a nice window ac unit, but cant put it in the window. I have an attic that it could be pumped into if need be.

But my real question is what is the reason that the back of the ac unit needs to be outside?

I have seen people use them inside and just set them on the ground. Does the unit give off fumes?? Or doet it just drip water? Thanks for your time and help and I am not opposed to just buying a new ac if anyone has any suggestions on indoor portable ac units. I am having big heat issues. Pe@ce

window ac gives off tons of heat out the back and sometimes does drip water best is to build a wall and vent the heat out of the room that the back of the ac is in and put a bucket underneath just to be safe portable would be good because you can vent it out of the room with just the tube

The back of the A/C is where it exhausts the warm moist air and also does the drip thing
