Wilting/Drooping after transplant.

I just transplanted/repotted both my babies and the bigger healthier of the two is wilting pretty bad. I repotted from Miracle Gro Organic Choice to a blend of FoxFarm Soil, Worm castings, Perlite, and about 5% of the original MC Organic Mix and watered thoroughly. I have put a wooden skewer up next to her to help give her support so she doesn't buckle over.

Any suggestions on what else to do?

sorry to hear that sucks, i transplanted 8 days ago from 3 galon to 25 gallon pots in coco. i did tear the root system slightly but not too bad, since then they havnt grown just really droppy they look over watered. ive tried superthrive, canna rizotnoic and seaweed and still no change.

Yep sounds exactly like what happened to me...The very top leafs are still alive and well, its just the lower leafs that are wilting for me. Maybe cut the lower wilting leafs off so the plant can focus on the top? I don't know, thats what i did and I have seen some slight improvement. Also maybe the plant wasn't big enough to put in such a big pot. How big are is it/are they?

i was thinking about cutting some of the lower leaves off but they look stressed enough as it is i think the last thing i want to do is shock them, but im no expert. the plants are pretty big about 4ft tall. i was planning on vegging them to about 6ft and then put them outside in a greenhouse to flower but i guess ill have to see what happens with them. how long ago did u transplant?

Oh wow 4ft haha...you might wanna start the flowering stage now. I transplanted about 5 days ago, one of them did fine looks great just growing very very slowly. Its been growing for about 6 weeks now and is only about 6 inches tall lol. The other plant wilted right away and just never recovered.

i dont wanna start flowering until they have fully recovered from the transplant, 6 weeks and 6 inches....lol are u using CLFs?

Im using 2 100 watt compact fluorescent daylight bulbs, one for each plant, and a 40 watt fluorescent grow light. But I think my problem was that I started the seeds out in too big of pots, then transplanted them before there roots were big enough... I just started new seeds two days ago they are looking good so far :)

nothing wrong with cfls, im using 5 for ten plants, just make sure it's the 6500k variety for veg. Mine are 15 days old and each are a half a foot with lots of nice bushyness. Nice a vibrant and green. So ya don't knock cfls.

I have the same issue now I. Have tranferd her in to a bigger pot now she is drooping and wilting not sure if I over watered her be for transplant or if she's just sad ..but need help also if she gets to the point were she won't recover should I just clip her and clone her any ideas. What would be best

its probably damaged roots, I just did the same thing, luckly I take cutting while they're in 5th gear veg, healthy cuttings have a better chance at rooting, weak shocked parts of plants usually wilt and die before they can grow the neccessary roots. I found that letting my plants get rootbound in a red cup so they have that "good" stress, the kind where they want to explode into the next pot usually has no transplant stress, little water, carbs, some an or superthrive, bam they back

be careful of elephant foot too, overwatering can cause the stem touching the wet medium to almost petrify between stem and roots, think of your hand in a bucket of water for days, you'd be hurtin to, sudden wilt syndrome sucks

So I have been having the same issue with mine. I bought a clone and transplanted her (no root damage) and she wilted and eventually died. I just bought another one since that one died and she is doing the same thing. Now the reason why I'm curious is because you say you switched your potting soil over to Foxfarms, same stuff I use so, I wonder if this soil burns baby plants because I just can't figure it out. Hope fully my new one bounces back, I'm just leaving her alone. The last one I tried the humidity dome and all that, none of it worked so I'm hoping me leaving it alone will. Ugh fingers corssed.

ok I know what happened to everyone involved. You transplanted and then had wilting. Drs advise. Water at the base of your stem instead of the entire container. transplants dont have the roots to expand fast so you have to nurse them along. What happens is the plant uses water like normal but you think the pot is wet but infact the plant sucked out all the water from the middle and is starving.Keep the center wet.
