wilma maxi jet 500 do i have a problem? or do i need a maxijet 1000

hi all just started growing in my 4 pot wilma with clay balls and the blue arrows in
the problem is the pump when the pump is on the water only runs down the arrows a little bit
i thought there was two jets of water coming from the top of the blue arrows instead of it running down the arrow a little is this right or wrong ?

and would a maxi jet 1000 fit into my 4 wilma setup
