After opening a thread about how to multiply my autoflowering plants I came to the conclusion that turning them into a hermi and using it to pollinate the feminized plants would give me fem seeds. But I was wondering how to properly hermi an auto-flower i don't think screwing up the light-cycles would work since it's an auto and therefore light-cycles shouldn't have effect. I read here that if the plant isn't harvested fully it will turn hermi is this true? can i harvest the buds, leave the plant and it will grow male “bananas" with pollen.
so this would be my plan:
1. Wait till my plants are finished flowering.
2. Harvest the buds.
3. Leave the plants alone to hermi by themselves.
4. Collect the pollen.
5. Use the pollen on the buds of my next grow (still have a few seeds left).
6. I get seeds.
Just wondering if there is a flaw in it.

also then i wouldn't be able to harvest anything because it would be covered in something you shouldn't smoke and the plant would be hermi before harvest instead of after.
