most case fans are 12volts so using a 19 volts is not a good idea, if you want to power your 4 fans with that it will not be enough power max 2 fans with that power supply. i currently have my 12volt fan hooked up to 9.6 volts and it turns like crazy

I have 4 case fans running off a small 120vac/12vdc transformer into a bridge. Cost you about $6.00 for them at any decent electronics store. Just solder the ac leads on the transformer to any 2-wire power cord, then the dc to the bridge, then the polarized (+/-) outs on the bridge to the pos/neg on the fans.

You can also find used pc fans of all sizes for $.50 at these electronics stores (again, it has to be a good shop, not Radio Shack).

Anyways, I'm rambling (and stoned). Just thought I'd throw out an alternate idea :-)

oh and if parralell lets say for example its a 10v dc 2 fans would both get 10v and work at full speed if it was series though each would get 5v and run at half speed

much love peace
