Will this work for flowering?

I'm going to be flowering next week, had to veg my plants for another couple of weeks to get them to recover from a bad gnat infestation and repot.

Im thinking of using a couple of lamps with the vegging 6400k CFL's about half way up the 3 plants to get the bottom foliage an a 400w HPS above them, will the CFL's be a waste of time or will they help.

That's one of the best things about CFLs... they can be placed close to the plants like that. This is a perfect application, so go for it

i would suggest that you make the CFLs easily adjustable.. so that you can constantly tweak them... so they are just a inch from your side foliage..
