Will This Work For Drying?

kindof off topic but i have a similar meter, was wondering if you could tell me the proper humidity for plants during veg and flower.

I honestly keep it as close to 50 as possible in veg and flower. I know some people in veg go 50-55% and flower 40%

little hot and a bit dry...try to get temp down to under 80 and rh to over 40 and you are gonna be super.!

Well its not gonna kill your plants to have temps in the 80's it may just slow growth and they will transpire more, the leaves may curl also.

You can have hotter temps if you are running co2.

so then mine reading temps of 81.6 and hum of 27% right now in vegg is not good then?

I run like that sometimes in the summer. With temps above 85f and low humidity, it sounds like a good breading ground for Spider Mites.

Just Something to watch. Temps under 85f humidity above 30%.

Good Luck :bigjoint:

how can i increase the humidty? will adding a jug of water help? dont want any mites. i keep the temps under 85.. barely

Anyway you can add moisture will help. Wet towels, trays of water, etc.

Temp and humidity won't cause Spider Mites, but they will thrive if you get them. Try and keep it clean, that helps. :leaf:

You know what I do in my tent? I am in the basement tho....when i needed to adjust the humidity in vegging a just poured water into my tent and let it evaporate. I would do about a gallon at a time. My tent did not leak at all.

thats what im thinkin like a gallon jug left open. gonna try it now. right now the temp/ humidity is... 83.1/26%. leaving one of my extra water jugs in it to see if that changes it by tomorrow.
