Will this soil mixture be ok?

Wondering if I used promix organic soil with worm castings and bat guanno mixed in. I plan to use Neptunes harvest liquid fish and kelp fertilizers during my waterings. These are about all I have access to. Thanks

That sounds like a great plan but be aware that pro mix isnt soil. It is a soiless mix. Also I have used those NH ferts and no matter what anyone trys to tell you those are a great choice.

All at once. Just a quick tip: Roots organic 707 mix has all the goodies already mixed in it and it is cheaper than pro mix. I switch to that and my plants are better than ever.

You will need to add either dolomite lime, or garden lime, or sweet lime to the promix. Just NOT hydrated lime. Otherwise you will experience pH problems from the acidity of the peat. ~$5 for a 40lb bag at Lowes or HD or most garden centers.

I make my own mix using peat from the same co that makes promix (Premier). It's good stuff. I also know that some of the PM's have lime added. Good as far as it goes, they just don't add enough for an entire grow.

maybe look into fish emulsion as well as the neptunes harvest. ive ran into problems with N deficency mid flowering with the neptunes harvest. i would use the fish emulsion in veg and early flowering and the neptunes harvest through flowering.
