Will this make potent marijuana tea?

Hey guys, first post here! Been a lurker for a while, now in the mix. So i have a nice amount of some very nice weed, potent and delicious. It's also my birthday, and I received this really handy tea maker, I have some nice white tea, rock sugar, good honey, everything I need for delicious tea. It basically works by putting in your brew mixture, pouring in the hot/boiling water, letting it steep, then it comes out the bottom and strains the liquid.

My plan is to put in some of the white tea, a tablespoon of butter, rock sugar, half a gram of high quality marijuana, then the water, which will end up being like 3 cups i think, enough to fill a tall glass. All of the weed recipes I have talk about using leeaves and letting it steep in boiling water for like well over and hour, which I really don't want to do lol, at that point I might as well just smoke it. Since I'm using good bud, can I skip this long boiling process and just do like a 5 minute steep with boiling(but cooling water?) Could i do near-boiling temp, or does it require a higher temperature? I just don't want my thc-infused mixture to evaporate too much(lost thc?), and the maker can't be actively heated, so the water would be cooling the longer it steeps, hopefully this won't cause any issues?

Any comments would be appreciated, something to help me refine my technique? I'm just a tea fan and a weed fan haha, I love the health benefits that both naturally offer to us poor humans. I've heard that marijuana tea has greater health benefits (and doesn't irritate the lungs at all) as compared to smoked marijuana? Let's get a discussion going haha.

Google decarboxylation. You can do this in an oven in 15 minutes, skipping the boiling . Also, I'm no expert, but I believe boiling will destroy the THC.. I could be wrong though.

You can make a thc infused drink but make sure you have a fat source for it to attach to or you'll just be making weed flavored tea with possibly some cannabinoids floating on top but most still on the bud... I would suggest a chai type tea

i would suggest cream rather than butter as your lipid/ fat to bind to. And Im also going to rep the oven decarb 200-220 degrees for 20 minutes (you need this step in order to get high), and then simmer the bud in your cream/ butter/ lipid and then (filter or not depending on your tastes) add to your tea after it has steeped.
