any comments on my design for my cupboard would be great any suggestions tips just anything to point me the right direction

What's the design?

Is there a link I am missing or pictures?

put as many cfls as you can in there for starters,the more light,the better,
get a humidifer & a fan of some sorts.doing some research first would def help...cfls arent the best.but they will work for vegging just fine.and for first time growers its the way to go.cheap n easy.

do you know roughly how many plants i would get in this space im looking at getting ak-48 , super lemon haze or white widow i will have about 10 , 21cm wide 23cm deep pots to use i could add or take away what you think?

all i can say is take youempty pot in their and set it up see what you like.

this might be a nub statement but isnt 2 400hps too much light for that much space? isnt heat going to be an issue?

yeah i was thinking that but ths is my first time ever growing and making a grow room,, so this is why i posted my design to see faults things i can change better etc for the plants sake......

last nite i got this calculation on the size of the space in foot 3x4=12squre ft

4ft by 3ft 12squre ft
with 2 sodium 400watt lights
total lumens 106000
total watts 876
watts per square foot 73
lumens per square foot 8833
distance in feet from plants 2 foot
lumens at plant 13250

but it says this is just a rough calculation also i put the light would only be 2 feet away so maybe thats y but im not ssure i could do with help on this sittuation if its going to be a problem

any suggestions ?

and ya..thats too much light for that lil of a grow space..hope you got a kick ass vent system.
down size it too one..youll be happier with the results.

so here's one for ya... i am redoing my garden (moving location) and switched from soil to hydroponics (you can only dump so much soil on your neighbors porch before they really get pissed).. i have a 2x5x5 clone/mother room with 6 4 foot cool flourescents.. my veg room is 5x6x7 with 4 sunleaves satellite iv flourescents.. my flower room will roughly be 7x8x7.. once its actually completed ill post pics.. but its all covered in black and white poly.. nicely sectioned off.. air tight... one 400 cfm (roughly) in each the veg and what will be the flower room... plus a 16 inch air king fan in both.. a can 50 with HO 6inch fan for smell... will have 2 ebb and grow systems (one for each cycle obviously)... its a really nice half way done set up.. should only take a week or so to finish.. right now tho i have some soil plants that i started flowering on the veg side.. they are under bloom bulbs.. i mean.. i spent almost 5 stacks already.. didnt have enough for the second ebb and grow or more flowering lights.. so once i have another 3 stacks or so ill finish it out.. basically i have one room set up and need more money for a second ebb and grow and lights before i can have it all up and running.. my question is this.. think 6-600 watt hps bulbs on electronic ballasts will be "too much lighting"?? using the 50watt/foot i only need 2800 watts.. but.. i really want to cover the garden well.. and i wont go with 1000 watt.. too inefficent..

oh... and i have an a/c unit in the flower room and there is plenty of ventallation..

I still say thats too much lighting..id go with 4-400 but thats just me..at 2 ft from tops of plants..
and u have that ac in the room.(as long as its not pointed directly at them)...Im hoping for a exhaust fan as well. ?something to suck that hot air out..and u said your going hydro.as long as the water temp is around 70..it can be a lil cooler on the top.
