Will the roots receive light in these buckets?

Good afternoon RIU, I went ahead and prepped some DWC buckets, tidy cats yay! Although I had a friend suggest that I may need darker colored buckets to block out the light. My question is, will my roots be fine in these buckets or will the light disturb them?

Absolutely not a dwc bucket. You can see through those dude, light needs to be completely blocked.

spray paint them black or something.
