The quick answer to your question is yes you plants should get enough nutes from your MG plant food.
What your plants are be exhibiting is Chlorosis- the yellowing of leaf tissue due to a lack of chlorophyll. Possible causes of chlorosis include poor drainage, damaged roots, compacted roots, high alkalinity, and nutrient deficiencies in the plant. Nutrient deficiencies may occur because there is an insufficient amount in the soil or because the nutrients are unavailable due to a high pH (alkaline soil). Or the nutrients may not be absorbed due to injured roots or poor root growth.
My advise to you is first make sure you have adequate lighting if that doesn't improve the situation consider changing the substrate you plants are growing in. The EC and pH regime may be creating buffer- a nutrient lock, that may be preventing important trace elements from being absorbed by the root to allow the plant to make chlorophyll. Your EC level before adding nute to substrate should be less than 1.0 mmhos and 5.6-6.2 for pH. You substrate must withstand wide fluctuations in the two measures to avoid plant stress. You choice of substrate is most important.
Good luck
