will my plants be ok?

i just started growing 3 random plants for a bag of seeds ive been saving on the 1st of july two aobut about 2.5in tall and the other 1in tall

ones of the plants stems is a purpleish, bergandieish color i think thats good...

but anyway i cant afford any hps lights or mh lights till another two weeks so i only got this lil 18in floresent verilux light one inch away from the plants till then and some good for nothing incendecent lights on them for now

will they be ok for another two weeks till i upgrade or will they just be all fuck up and stretching to where i should just start over?

ur best bet is to go buy atleast 1 23watt or 2 CFL's... and just put it under em.. that should be enough till u get an HPS or MH...

thanks im still trying to figurer outt he whole vegetation to floring thing out but i figered ill know what its about when my plants are ready *if that makes any sence at all

Its quite simple... You veg (which means grow leaves and new branches to the size you like...) then you switch the light cycle to 12/12 to trigger flowering..

24 hours light = Vegitation.. no flowering..
12/12 hours light.. = triggered flowering.. and it will still grow.. but to an extent then you need to harvest just in time.

You will learn trust me. While your plants are vegging is the best time to studdy and research ") if you dont find this fun... or atleast put any effort into reading and learning to grow.. You might as well stop now...

First things you should research if your still interested is..

PH you water..(most important)
Nutrients..(Wont need now since your plants are still young.)
Soils
Temperatures
humidity.
And ofcourse Light.

im all for reading ive been reading alot but im more of a visual person so i hope i get a better understanding as my plants go thur changes

and i kinda think its cool how i dont know what kinda plants tey are hoping ill be able to identify them once they get bigger they already have their own charateristics even thou they so young
