Will my FYI ebb and flow work? (Pics)

I built an ebb and flow. 18 gallon res 10gallon table. 264gph pump. 1/2 inch. 3/4 overflow. (3) 1.3 gallon buckets. With hydration.

Question is. Is this enough flood?

You'll have to water from top, whether that be drip or hand watering, for the first week or so. Then it'll b fine.

Thank you. Can I stick the rapid rooter a little deeper, so the end touches the water? Or will that not work in the end

i stick the plants deep in, never have to top water

I don't really recommend having your rooting medium that low in the basket.
