Will making seeds hurt my plants?

I collected some pollen from a nice looking male master kush during my last grow. I'd like to pollinate a lower branch of my Skunk #1 to make some seeds. Will this have any effect on the rest of the plant? Like, will it make the plant turn hermie or inhibit bud growth? Also, my SK#1 is about 4 weeks into flowering. When is the best time to apply the pollen. Thanks!

If you pollinated the entire plant, or half the plant, I'd have to think it would have some negative affect on your final product. Pollinating a branch or a bud will make no noticeable difference.

Since seeds need at least 4 weeks to mature fully and you are 4 weeks in, the time to pollinate is NOW.
