Will led christmas lights work during flowering

a dude at my job was telling me about his brother who used led christmas lights to flower and had a pretty good yield
HAs anybody heard of doing this if it is true in the first place

I asked about that and no ever responded...

I was thinking of a LED rope light for supplementation

If you have enough of them, I don't see why you couldn't get a good yeild.

that what i think he was talking about like using yellow orange or rde lights because u could put the led lights right on the plants because they dont really give off any heat

The redness of HPS lights isn't due to the light-BULB being colored though, its just the spectrum of light its giving off.
