Will it shock my plants to grow them indoors at first, then switch them outside?

My seeds are just about done germing, gonna give em another 8 hours or so. Right now it drops to the low to mid 50's at night, which I think would not be good for them. (daytime highs are also only upper 60's). So at this time I'm thinking about just growing inside under a full spectrum florescent and then in maybe 2-3 weeks once it has heated up switching them outside(in pots).

Once my plants have adjusted to the florescent lights will they get shocked and die outside from the sun?

Also one more thing, I read that you should have a photoperiod if possible of around 18 hours for maximum growth. Should I do this if I plan on switching them outside? Right now we get about 14-15 hours of light per day naturally. If I switch them outside can I just gradually decrease the amount of light they receive indoors until it matches or should I just keep it the same all the way through?

Thanks a ton!

edit - probably should have added that it won't really be possible to keep them inside... my parents have no idea, lol. it's fine for now when they are small, but once they get size they would be hard to hide. We have a lot of property though so that's why I was gonna hide them outside.

i would recommend you do this (start them indoors). no need for all the crazy switching tho.

i would recomend a 18-6, or even a 20-4 (as i use in the VEG stage) light schedule, then in a few weeks wen they r big enough to go outside them put them out there.

My suggestion would be to keep them indoors thru veg state, then get them outsite on the night of July 1st. Something with the moon/sun cycles, temps, etc.. As long as you've got them vegged up and ready to go, you'll have maximum buds! Something about the switch shocks them into massive flowering. Works like a charm! Good luck :)
