How long do you think you got before the first hard frost?

As the above poster said, the date of the first frost / freeze is going to dictate when you need to chop it down if you're growing outdoors.

october 15th should be around the time of frost it is august 19th now and they are coming around good just dont know if i have enough time?

You should be good, my just started flowering and I only have 3 weeks till frost, I might have some trouble, you should be good though.

the plant is about 2 and a half feet tall and i have removed all the fan leaves every branch on my plant is flowering and shows great sign of bud i just hope it works out cause it my first year of growing and alot of people act like its harder to suceed then it is i want to prove them all wrong with my weed!!!!

u removed the fan leaves?

Im somewhat of a newb myself, but i would say that them fan leaves help with bud production or thc something. if they are no good to the plant they will fall off or will fall off with the slightest touch..may be the reason for late flowering. iunno im high have a good day happy growing.

Fan leave's get the most sun, sunlight is neded so the plant makes sugar, sugar is used as energy to grow at night. Less leaves, less energy to make good bud. just the way i look at it.

ya the big leaves that dont have flowers and shade all the budding parts is that bad?

depends on who you ask. You should refrain from heavy pruning. Light pruning of lower leaves is fine. Of course you'll run into anti pruners that swear every leaf of the plant is invaluable and separation means doom, but hey, there must be 100 ways to grow weed right, just ask 100 people....

The buds themselves don't actually need light, they get their energy from what she absorbs through her fan leaves and others on the plant. You definitely should have left them on there man.

you should be good my man for i live in the same area,,
if your first frost comes to early and you don't expect it just make sure you cover her up to keep the frost off her and she will totally be fine.
as the other posters are saying up above "cut your fan leaves" please do not if you want sizable bud. the fan leaves act as a say solar panel therefore giving your bud its goods, its what your bud grows from.
unless you want little and shitty bud do not cut your leaves.
if you want your lower branches to get light you have the option of tieing her down thus giving you better yield and keeping her hidden better from cops/hunters/hikers/whatever.
thanks for reading:D

thanks alot i need someone in my same area for feedback when did your plants start budding was mine to late or just on time with you?
