Will I have enough Lumens per sq foot?

will this grow setup be sufficient for this situation?

-1000 watt switchable hps/mh ballast

-a cooled 6in hood
dimensions = L 23 W 19 H 12

-Plantmax 1000W hps bulb
Lumens = 140,000

growing 9 plants in a 5ft x 5ft space.

Also a inline fan with reflective mylar.

All is Well my friend! Just watch out for hot spots and rotate plants once in a while. 1000w are hot as hell!! 140000 /25sqft=5600f/c As long as you are growing a indica veriety you will be fine. Indy sativias and sativias need more light to grow properly. Closer to 7-10thousand f/c range. Two 600w HPS would be better, but what you have will work. Good luck!

More than enough light man. Btw. Although it says 140k lumens on the light. Its really like 120K Mean lighting, which is the actual output.

I put 25 clones in various stages of growth in a 6'x 6' skirted area with a 1kw/hps suspended permanatly 4' above the bed. I do LST but in a way that very few people would understand.

Sounds like you got a good set-up over there... and you do have plenty of light for a 5 x 5 area.
