if i suddenly change my lighting schedule from 24/0 to 18/6, will that signal to the plants that days are getting shorter and its time to start budding? or as long as it still is getting that much light, it will continue to veg? thank you!

it will continue to veg, wont signal to the plants that its time to start flowering untill you swap to 12/12 .. although i have found that having a 18/6 schedule has sped up the growing process! hope this helps

No, the way I understand it a 12/12 light schedule is necessary to induce flowering.
It will likely look pretty much the same after 24/0 as 18/6.

Pot needs about 10 hours of uninterrupted darkness to flower. Most go 12. 6 is not enough to induce flowering. You're good.
