Will Beavers Disturb Plants

i found what just might be the best grow spot ever but there are bever near by and i was wondering will beavers destroy my plants

I planted on a little island. that was made by a beavers flooding a corner of my buddies property. there was a dam connecting the property to the li'l island and the lodge was about 10 meters away. the beaver never ate one of my plants

stay away from my spot..I was there first... HAhaha..

i also forgot to ask the soil is pretty moist because it is close to water will this become a problem

I use burlap sax filled with promix. lay them out cut a hole in them and put a plant. the burlap acts like a wick sucking up the moisture and the roots can grow threw the sax in to the existing soil, helping to water its self but keeping the bulk of the roots from drownding/rotting.
