will a ppm level of 1200 be too much for 3 week old clones?

Probably a dumb question, but I just transplanted my clones that are 3 weeks old that are in small rock wool cubes into the larger rock wool blocks. I got my res set up and use GH nutes and I prepared a 'growth' mix, then tested it and realized the ppm level is in the 1150 range, maybe a bit higher.

Can I leave it or do I have to dilute it?

It is in a flood/drain table and I'll flood once a day.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No as long as they are a decent size. If they have been stunted then it wont do anything to increase growth. Make sure your PH is in the 5.6-6.2 range

Thanks!! That helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

personally I think 1200 is way too high for your plants at this stage. Just keep an eye on the leaf tips/edges, if you see some burn back off on the ppms.

yeah, this is WAYYY too high imo, for 3 week old clones you could do even 3-400 PPM in my opinion, you probably will see burning edges like Ego Fum Papa said.

i recently started a couple of clones right about at that ppm. it didn't kill them (check the journal below), but i sure won't do it again. i'm certain that growth would have been faster had i started them at 1/4 strength and ramped up. The plants seemed to really be shocked to shit for about a week and a half before serious veg growth could begin, and they did better as I gradually got a clue and diluted the res.
one clone kept separately (given, under a t5 setup instead of hid) received a weaker solution in a hempy bucket. The hempy bucket one looks, and always has looked, fantastic. The one in the strong dwc solution has a growth rate that seems to be a couple days behind it's clone mate, right about the same amount of time that it spent adjusting to the high ppm.
