Will a plant that has been over stressed be a male?

I wanted to put this out there since I had a plant grow balls almost over night. I had screwed up my grow pretty bad when I used a ph kit to set the ph of my nutes. The mixture didn't show up on the scale so I guessed that it was to low and added ph up til I almost put in a 1/4 cup. Instead of throwing it out and starting over I gave it to the plants.

What ever you do don't do this!! It almost killed all the plants. I locked out all the nutes and they started to show every ailment under the sun!!! I have the thread; way to much ph up, if you care to look, anyway the reason for this post is to ask if you stress a plant will it be more likely to be a male as it is easier for the plant to produce pollen and die thus giving other plants an oppertunity to pollenate? Or if it's a male it's a male and if it's a female it's a female?

I wonder if a plant that is healthy will lean toward female knowing that it is healthy enough to produce buds and seeds where as a sick or under developed plant will go male thinking it is to weak to grow buds and produce seeds.

Any way points to ponder while you take that next toke.......

You can stress a female and cause it to hermie, but a female can not turn 100% male over stress.
I maybe wrong on this but I strongly believe that this can not happen because of stress.
If it went hermie then I would say it was caused by the stress.
