Wierd military question

I was just asked if when you turn 18 you have to sign up for the armed forces in california, is this a law? I never heard about it and I never did... was I supposed to?

wow I never knew it was an option. lol
I would be VERY sure you are reading that correctly.

Well either way I have PTSD and I don't have to worry, I'm sure it is an option. Nobody I know in person knew anything about it, but a friend got a letter about it and asked me because nobody else knew either so.. ya... everybody around here says they never signed up
