looking for a potent strain that is good for SOG that has a very good yeild. have tried ice and thc bomb but they seem to do better when you let the whole plant grow. wanting to do SOG and thought about barneys farm top dawg but my buddy said it was great for SOG but that it does not yeild much.

Top44, it's short and flowers in 6 weeks. Stay away from sativas if you're trying to do a SOG. I tried using PPP in an SOG and they were stretchy and fell over after the buds started getting heavy.

Island Sweet Skunk ?
Indica/Sativa.
Strong smell, very powerful. Heavy yielding strain that will keep getting bigger and bigger spear-like colas and thick hairs. Needs to be tied or staked in last few weeks due to excessive weight when it's grown larger. Sativa dominant structure. Sweat inducing stone. No veg. time needed for a sea of green.
Flowering time 8 to 9 weeks. Harvest outdoor end of Oct

island sweet skunk takes way to long to flower i think. try some paradise seeds whiteberry or some sort of hash plant. some flower in like 40-45 days, perfect for a SoG

it might get to tall for indoors. everything i have read about it says it gets pretty tall
that's why you flower it as soon as the clones are rooted. The time you loose from the extra flowering length is compensated by the no veg time.
If you want dank & potent it's my pick. I've yet to hear any of these 42 day strains was killer weed most are just couchlock Indicas of OK strength.

my 2 whiteberry plants are just now going on their 4th set of real leaves. they are nice, short and looking very healthy. gonna be testing out a SoG with them really as soon as i can pull clones and get enough to get things rolling

I used to do northern lights in a SOG setup. I know it's pretty old school, exept it's kinda funny that lately I've tasted allot of badass bud that tastes like a NL cross. as a matter of fact I'm waiting for ATTITUDE to get some more KC brains NLS because all that juniper tasting smoke made me miss it. NL is super easy, strong (both potency and the plants) short, tasty, and I never seemed to get a tolerence to the strain.

I'm going with the KC brains version, because I can't afford the sensi version. That's the one I had before.

Good Luck
