i had my first grow but it failed. it was the church 12/12 from seed the pot was a gallon i believe? the plant started to die bottom up. like the leaves would dry off and die at the bottom and to the top. it was over 5 months and the bud was extremely undeveloped what was wrong? small pot? more water?
 
what did kill it? you are the one who knows all the info on your grow and that, more details on your setup watering feeding etc are needed if you want us to figure it out.
 
sounds like your soil was too wet, or just too dry, or just like you said, your pot might have been too small, esp if the plant was 5 1/2 months old.
i bit more info would be helpful to answer your question

were you growing outdoors, or what lights were you using.
and next time use a bigger pot

With the information given (which was extremely minimal) I'd say it was pretty nice of crazymental to even reply. And then you shoot down his answer? I would of said the exact same thing. If it was stunted, didn't grow and died from the bottom up,first newbe mistake I'd guess would be over watering as well.

Moash ,What would you suggest as an helpful answer? or are you just here to troll?
 
just 2 cents, but my buddy had this exact same problem and i fixed it with proper ph'd water. minimally you need cheap ph test kit to test the water you are giving your plants. 6.5 ph is great for most strains.

thats more reasonable but still wrong as in there is no info to diagnose or pics

i gave a helpful answer.....ask for help when its still alive....
how is it possible to diagnose a plant with no pics or info?

by listening to the symptoms... Obviously it would of been better if he had a pic of asked when it was alive. But that's like getting in an accident being told your paralyzed and then having the doctor say " well I guess you should of worn a seatbelt." After the fact doesn't really matter.

sorry If i'm coming off like an asshole I haven't had my "weedies" for breakfast yet.

im having mine right now....come chill
i get ur point,but his symptoms(drying and dying from bottom to top) could be deficiencies.....hell,we dont even know if he fed it.....but to say thats the prob when there can be others....
Also i think he prob would have mentioned wilting if it was a water prob
