Why Use Autoflower?

still new to this( only 2 grows under my belt), but why do ppl use auto?

Because they're faster.

I prefer regular strains, mostly sativas, autos aren't very stable from what I understand, and the few times I smoked auto weed, it was a disappointment. Headache + couchlock + little high = no bueno.

Seems a lot of the problems people have on here and discuss, are from auto weed.

I'm growing both. I had good results with Pandora, very nice and very tasty. I have 4 different strains going now all just about 5 weeks old. 60 Day Wonder, AutoJack, Pandora, and Vertigo. They are all flowering. Another thing with AFs, they are usually much smaller so they are great if you have only a small area. The potency is good, maybe not the best but still very good. I also have some granddaddy purps (photoperiods) that are almost ready. When you smell the buds, you think Grape.

because in this day and age people are impatient and lazy imho.

I haven't personally used them but I've seen others put them in a veg chamber an have it flower and finish while the other ones are still in veg. Can't speak on the quality or potency tho!

I am currently growing an auto I received as a freebie seed in my supplementary box under CFL's. They have many advantages which might attract fellow growers to acquiring them. They are quite resistant to stress and do well in a wide variety of conditions. They bud quickly, require less nutes and keep usually short (mine is 50cm by the end of flower). I like the auto cause it looks cute and I use it to experiment with techniques I can later apply on my normal strians (transplanting, flooding...) without having to worry about losing too much if something goes wrong.

All Autos are not equal.
Have had some good autos,,, and some not so good.
Nice thing about them is you can have a perpetial grow going under one light in one room. for some that's a big plus.
I don't do autos in my grow except as a side line (free seeds, etc.). I prefer more than a couple OZ from a plant and love cloning. Auto don't work that way (generall) and finding regular Auto seeds in a variety isn't available on the most part. (Biggest drawback to me)
