Why some of the best strains come regular only?

I have been shopping around and was wondering why some of the best strains only come in regular seeds and not feminised.. examples: Serious seeds strains, sensi seeds jack herer, NL5xHaze, Mr. Nice seeds, etc.

are regular seeds better than fems or is it just a marketing strategy, or do "real growers" frown upon growers that buy femenised seeds?

to each his own but i personally prefer regular seeds over feminized
i dont like hermaphrodite plants and they are a risk in fem seeds.

I started using fem seeds; never got a hemi yet. Did have some from "regular" seeds. Don't know why Serious doesn't have fem seeds. They're a kick!

yeah im dying to grow some AK 47 and some White russian... but i only have room for like 4 plants at a time, and the chances of gettin a female in 4 plants are slimmer than gettin one in 11 plants. Damn i wish they had fem seeds.

With regular seeds, if you only get a few females, pick the best looking one and clone her. Guaranteed females

I have used fems and had very good success with no hermies. I prefer regular seeds and I am a huge fan of Serious Seeds. I just popped 3 Kali Mist and all three turned out female. I popped 3 Ak47 and 2 were female. From my experience, seeds from established breeders seems to be a high % female.

The way I understand Serious Seeds, they don't believe in female seeds. They claim that regular seeds is better and will keep their strains reproducing for years. You won't see fems from Serious Seeds. I don't know about the other breeders but Serious ain't joining the crowd.

The reason why alot of breeders are against making feminized seeds, is because they believe it deminishes the quality of the herb. its because of all the stress they have to put a plant through to turn it hermie and pollenate herself to produce them, or in more cases lately, the chemical process that they have to put a plant through to produce feminized seeds. its not natural. even the nutrients we use regularly to feed a plant and make her grow strong, even though thats not natural either, its nothing compared that stuff that they use to create fem seeds. i think its gibberillic acid or somethin like that, -its some nasty shit. But as for the breeders who make fem seeds by stressing a plant out n forcing it to self pollenate, alot of people say that while its still some killer bud, it will never reach the full potential that it was bred to reach because of all the shit that the plant that produced the seeds were put through.

Most breeders that dont make the fems are against this process because they want to put out the highest quality seeds available. the unfemmed seeds are the way that plants naturally produce seeds, passing their genetics on to the next grower. this is the natural process of things, and alot of people think it should be kept that way. IMO, theres nothing wrong with femmed seeds at all. Sure, there may be alot of talk about potency issues, but when you have limited space, or dont have the time to plant 10 seeds, pick out the fems n start cloning, its much simpler to plant 10 fems, pick out any hermies (if any), and just get on with the grow. its a matter of convenience. If you DO have the time or the space to go through the process, then i would reccomend buying regular seeds, only because youll more than likely get more bang for your buck by getting one female with superior genetics,and cloning the shit out of her, lol. I buy both, just in case im ever in a situation where i need to start up a brand new grow from scratch ever, and dont have the time to fuck around with the selection process.

Just do what fits your own situation the best, and your straight. Nobody will slant you for buying femmed seeds, theyre still top notch quality, its just a matter of personal preference really.

I agree. I noticed if I let a flowering female continue flowering, it will eventually put out a strange looking flower part containing a type of pollen, then have one or more seeds. These seeds are always females. They produce very strong and healthy plants.

u know i have noticed that alot of fem seeds are not what the titles say alot of the time there crossed wit somethin else dont know if any1 else has noticed this but i stick to the reg ones
