Why so hot

Haveing probs with temps.room size is 2 by 1.5 feet,250w hps 5 inch fan extracting air from room throught top of hood,4 inch fan sucking cool air from outside into bottom of room,light about 5inch from plant,temps 90 to 100.Any ideas?

Is it a sealed hood? if not thats why. If it is then try pulling air in from outside, run it accross the bulb then back out of room. continue with other airintake for room just try to use cooler air across light

small space = heats up quicker...whats the ambient temperature outside the box? In a space that is so small as yours you are going to need lots of airflow to keep it cool...but don't expect it to magically be below your outside ambient temp + 10degrees even with great airflow...you are probably going to need a cooltube as well...or increase your space
