I don't get why a "grow journals" section exists here at all in a public forum and people have to be told not to post unless they are asked...really? 
Especially when there is a dedicated feature for journals (blogs) on rollitup where the user is empowered to control the comments.
I know how to stop this vile problem of people posting in a public forum...merge the features and keep the journals out of the forums!
Ok, so that's my advice and my rant for the day.
